I forgot how tiresome Quidditch trials can be. I'm the Seeker, not captain; is it really necessary for me to spend hours watching second years ploughing into the ground facefirst? Every single year, the little ones come out of the woodwork to exhibit what they hope is skill. This chaos was probably meant to be a showcase of house talent, but it hardly seems like it.

There are a few good names this year, though. I'm anticipating the first match. It will be an interesting change from the studies, since NEWTs classes are turning out to be surprisingly manageable so far. Is it really that bad in the final year?
